 The
Mercy Hospital Auxiliary donated a total of $15,339 to Mercy Hospital in
2004. The following departments benefited from the Auxiliary grants in 2004:
The Outpatient Surgery department received a
Playstation and games; the OB department received a Photo-therapy lite; the
Education department received a Sibling Silly Kit; the Mercy Physician Group
received a magazine and patient education rack; the Laboratory received a
Fax machine and shredder; the Pastoral Care department received boom boxes;
the Infection Control department received an infection control manual; the
Cardiac Rehab department received patient education materials and a pulse
oximeter; and the Occupational Health department received functional assess
packet.
In addition to these gifts, the Auxiliary
purchased additional LifeLine units for Mercy Home Care in July.
The Mercy Hospital Auxiliary has donated
22,851 hours to the Mercy Ministry so far in 2004.
