Mercy Medical Clinic of Linn County Groundbreaking Ceremony
|
Mercy Health System of Kansas and the Pleasanton Family Practice announce the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mercy Medical Clinic of Linn County on Thursday, April 16 at 1 p.m.
The new facility and groundbreaking will be held at the intersection of the 1100 Rd and Hwy 69 in Pleasanton, Kansas. The public in invited to attend.
The groundbreaking of the new clinic is paramount for the community of Pleasanton.
Since 1995, the healthcare providers and staff of the Pleasanton Family Practice have seen patients at the 9th and Main facility. Over the years, this group of Mercy co-workers have established an excellent reputation of healthcare in the area and built trustworthy relationships with their patients.
This new clinic will allow what is currently the Pleasanton Family Practice facility to better serve the area residents with the state-of-the art technology, spacious facilities and convenient access from Hwy 69.
“Joe and Linda Pointer of Pleasanton were instrumental in making the new clinic possible through the donation of the parcel of land,” said John Woodrich, President and CEO of Mercy Health System of Kansas. “We have worked on putting this project together for the people of Linn County for some time. Through collaboration with the County, City, and the great people of Pleasanton, today, we begin a new era of healthcare service in Linn County.”
A Mercy tent will be on site for the groundbreaking so inclement weather will not interfere with the ceremony. Parking has been made available at the south end of the Northside BBQ parking lot.
