The Mercy Foundations of Fort Scott and Independence
are non-profit organizations established to support the health care mission
of Mercy Health System of Kansas. Directed by governing boards composed
of community leaders, the Foundations serve as vehicles for individuals
and business donors in our communities to participate in the Mercy ministry
through philanthropy. Contributions made through special events, direct-mail
appeals, memorial gifts, bequests, capital fund-raising efforts and other
avenues help support a variety of equipment, programs and services which
Mercy might otherwise be unable to provide. Our Foundations have been
described as our "margins of excellence," helping Mercy to excel as a
top-quality health care provider through effective community partnership. |
